Liposuction 360

Liposuction in Miami is one of the most frequently performed cosmetic surgical procedures.

WHAT IS LIPOSUCTION?

By Liposuction Dr. Abeer Sawwad will contours your body by literally sucking out the fat from your problem area, including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck. And it shows you the desired body re-shaping results in a single treatment.

Information About The Procedure

  • Surgery duration: 1 – 2 hours.
  • Anesthesia type: local or general anesthesia.
  • Recovery period: 2 – 3 days.
  • Final result: Several weeks after the procedure.

Liposuction is the appropriate treatment for you if:

  • You are an adult with a good health.
  • You are not suffering from any diseases or obstacles that may affect the wound healing process.
  • And not suffering from disproportionate fat deposits.
  • You’re looking for a single treatment to see immediate results. Because all other non-invasive body contouring treatments require you to take up several sessions to see the results after several months.

Depending upon the area being treated, Dr. Abeer Sawwaf will apply local or general anesthesia. Then she will make a small incision around the site of your fat deposits. After, a thin tube will be moved underneath your skin to loosen the fat cells. Finally she will close your incisions with sutures.

Because liposuction is an outpatient and minimally invasive procedure, regular activity can be resumed after 48 hours post-surgery.

Dr, Abeer will help you eliminate unwanted fat using the the most advanced techniques and equipment for  liposuction in Miami, so that you can look and feel amazing!

Not a Weight Loss Procedure

The reality is that most patients only lose about two to five pounds in total. In other words the best candidates, in fact, are generally within 30% of a healthy weight range and have localized fat pockets they would like to reduce. But not for those who are overweight.

Liposuction does not help cellulite!

Cellulite is a condition that occurs near the skin’s surface. And because liposuction is only able to remove soft, fatty tissue (and does not directly affect the skin or other tissues), the fibrous connecting bands causing cellulite are not altered.

Fat deposits removed will return after liposuction

Liposuction is “permanent” because fat cells do not multiply, so once they are removed, they cannot come back. Since liposuction works by breaking down body fat and converting it into a liquid form that’s drained using small suction tubes, the fat cells disappear forever.

However, there will still be some remaining fat cells that can grow in size and expand the area if one’s calorie intact is excessive. The best way to prevent this is to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen.
